We wanted a home that felt like it belonged in the bushland, something timeless, built from materials that would age naturally, withstand bushfires and require very little maintenance.
Working with Erhard was a great experience. As a builder, I had strong ideas about what I wanted, but I also wanted an architect who would challenge my thinking and bring something more to the table. That’s exactly what happened. We worked closely together, refining the design and resolving details as we went.
The site was challenging, but having that shared understanding of design, engineering and construction made all the difference. It was a genuine collaboration, and I think the result speaks for itself.
