Situated atop the Balmoral Hill the Balmoral Residence is an exciting and liveable family home for a family who wished to make the most of the site by taking into account the sweeping 360-degree views of Brisbane City and beyond.

The house draws cues from modern architecture characterized by the expression and articulation of strong horizontal and vertical building planes. These modernist influences are also experienced throughout the programming and planning of the dwelling. Split over three levels, the architecture is strategic in creating a range of ‘public and private’ spaces complimented by a series of outdoor terraces that offer unique spatial experiences and occupation orientated around the stunning outlook.

A subtle timeless palate of ivory bricks, off form concrete, warm timbers set against light grey metal cladding will be complimented by a suspended planter and extensive site-wide landscaping helping nestle the house back into the hillside.

Construction of Balmoral Residence is due to commence early next year.
